My recently installed CDSC48 displays "Salt OK" when I toggle through through the menu. The manual and everything I find here says it should indicate ppt. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.
It takes the unit 24 hours to accumulate a salt reading. If you just installed it, the salt reading won't be displayed until it has had a day to figure things out.
CompuPool just sent me a replacement display board (under warranty). The old display (It was new last summer) read ppm, the new one just reads "Salt OK".
I'm guessing they have updated the programming to cut down on "nuisance" calls to customer service about discrepancies between the SWG indication and test strips.
Been a week and still says salt ok. Just to make sure, I bought some strips....now I'm totally confused.. I put 800 LBS in 29K gallons. Two strips are reading 1400ppm? Can't be right, can it? It's seems to be generating just fine.
Probably not. Should be at least 3700. Guess they may have gotten a bunch of salt level calls, modified the display software. It was kinda repetitive considering you've got a salt high and salt low indicator.
