Sand getting back into pool

Im getting a little bit of sand back into my pool every day...The paerwork said 175 pounds of sand and the filter shows 200 if im reading it right..Could i have to much sand causing this or could it just be the new sand since its only been running a week..We have backwashed it and cleaned it a few times...Or could it be a broken lateral?

It could be a broken lateral. However if you did put too much sand, and you vacuum it up on filter you're just putting it right back in the filter. Backwashing won't get rid of it.
How much did you put in initially?

200 pounds was what we first put in.
