Hello,
I am new to this forum so I hope that I am doing this correctly. I have a AutoPilot Soft Touch SC36 that is approx. 5 years old. It recently stopped producing chlorine so I finally replaced the cell. It started producing chlorine again immediately and still is but now the service light is flashing twice. I have checked all trouble shooting tips that are listed on the AutoPilot site to see if I could figure out what was going on with no success.
The only thing I am not really sure of is the voltage test on the PS at the J3 location. Not really sure where that is. I put my multimeter on the end of the cord that plugs into the salt cell and it does not give me any reading on DC volts. Checked all three fuses, salt level from pool store said 3500ppm, checked screen and all clear, calibrated unit to 3000ppm, powered down the unit and restarted, checked cell for any build-up and completely clean after a week and a half of use. I did the diagnostic check and reads the following: 95 degrees, 3000ppm, 28 volts, 1 amp. Amps i guess should be at five right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
