Hi,
20,000 gallon marquis pool with DE filter and chlorine in Florida.
Just got a new 2 3/4 inch drain installed with a removable top grate. They also covered the old cool deck with acrylic knock down deck but I have puddles after it rains that I am not very happy about. They are mostly along the drain but also in a few other spots.
Most of the deck drains away just fine but one area and along the drain do not. They are telling me that some puddly spots are typical and acceptable. Is that true and if so how much?
They range from less than 1/4 inch deep and 8 inches in circumference to an inch deep and 3 feet by 4 feet.
My feeling is that all of the rain water should drain away within a few minutes of the rain stopping and no standing water be left in any amounts, wet yes, but not more than JUST wet.
Can you tell me if I am crazy
