New pool in SoCal

Its beautiful!!! I was wondering if you had any pictures of the spa running over the spillover? I have asked my PB to do this look and I am wondering how it looks/sounds. I wanted more of a "white water" sound. Is it louder?

Haven't had time to post some pics at night, but I did take some and it doesn't look that great. You see some beautiful night shots of pools on this forum... mine is just dark. I think it's a combination of my camera along with the fact that I don't have landscape lighting installed. That's phase 2.

I'll also post a pic of the waterfall on full. It looks and sounds like you'd imagine, not like Niagara Falls or anything. It's a pretty wide spillway and it takes a separate pump to drive enough water to make it sound like water over rocks in a stream. There are pros and cons to a cascading spillway. The "pro" is that they look pretty and sound peaceful. The downside is that they're harder to clean and a little more prone to scaling.

Ok... Here are some nighttime pictures and some pics of the spillway in action. I stink at the photography thing so I apologize for the blurry pics.

And the spillway in daytime. The sound is very pleasant... like a running stream. This is just with the waterfall booster pump going. The Jandy control system has a "spillway" option which closes the valve to the pool return so all the water is directed to spa too. Turning on "spillway" and the booster pump at the same time moves a lot of water.
