We decided in the fall of 2009 to move. We started looking at houses with pools, and for the money we wanted to spend, the houses needed work and in some cases, so did the pools. So, we decided to start looking at houses in areas where pools tend to add to the value, and find a house to add a pool to. Of course, the first house we looked at had a nice hill in the back, and we ruled it out. Then after a couple weeks, we started coming back to this house as the one we really liked, and consulted our pool company on their thoughts on putting a pool in. No problem they said, and pulled out a book of other pools in the area in hilly yards. So we bought the house and ordered the pool. Construction started in late May 2010, and last just shy of 4 weeks. We are still picking away at fixing the yard up over a year later, but we have really been enjoying the pool. It's a 15x29 Onground, about 15 inches out of the ground at the front edge. Naturally, after it was built, I wished we had gone bigger, but we were kind of locked in by trees.
