What goes where

Good day, I am totally a newbie a pool so you will probably see me alot.

I bought a house in the winter with a pool(already winterized) and now I need to hook everything up and I have no clue what goes where. I have a pump, a filter, a off line chlorinator, a "Nature2" system, 4 hoses which 2 of them has the connection to the chlorinator.

Here are my questions. Where am I suppose to connect the chlorinator?

Between the Skimmer and the Return. Bypassing the Pump, the Filter and Nature2.
Between the Pump and the Return. Bypassing the Filter and Nature2.
Between the Skimmer and the Nature2. Bypassing the Pump and the Filter.
Between the Filter and the Return. Bypassing the Nature2.

Can I use the Nature2 system without a cartridge?

The chlorinator will be between the filter and the return.
