I'm currently looking at buying a house with an approximately 30+ year old pool. The liner is less than a year old. The pump was "rebuilt a few years ago". The pool is about 16 by 34 feet with a deep end/diving board (unsure on number of gallons). The water is a lovely shade of green. :) I took pictures of the equipment. Is there any information to be gained from the pictures? I will get a pool inspection if I do make an offer, but am trying to see if this is a money pit beforehand. :) Thanks!

Equipment looks fine. The flexible pipe return looks like it could do with being changed but that's pretty trivial. Equipment is fairly easy to replace. Biggest concerns are leaks from the liner and plumbing - they are the money pits. You may want to get the plumbing pressure tested if this is a big concern.
