Do you HAVE to shock if numbers are alright?

So we took the cover off and all my numbers when I tested were in range except the CYA was low and I needed to add salt. So I added the salt and CYA. All other numbers were good and the pool is crystal clear except for a little dirt on the bottom. So, I'm assuming I don't need to shock it.

Thanks this is the first time opening the pool. PB closed it for us when he came back to install cover.

There is no need to shock as long as the water looks good, CC is 0.5 or lower, and you can maintain a normal FC level.
