How many sections of pool fence go around a 24' round?

What kind of fence? Is the fence going to be connected to the top rail of the pool? Will the fence be on the ground? How many sides does the pool have? What is the situation? Just a few questions that may need to be answered.

How much walkway do you want between pool and fence? And how wide is each section?

I'm just talking about the vinyl pool fence that goes around the pool perimter and attaches to the each upright pillar (My pool gets installed 5/5 so i can't go out and count them myself!
