What is the best way to reduce from the 2' PVC pipe to the 1 1/2" skimmer and return connections?

Is it better to use 2" or 1 1/2" pipe from the pump outlet to the heater, filter and SWG and go back to 2" after the Jandy 3 way valves or use 2" all the way through?

Thanks in advance,

Bell reducers or swages are best, but it's hard to find those in PVC so bushing reducers are commonly used. It's best to stay as large as possible all the way through the system but a few feet of smaller pipe doesn't make a huge difference. For instance, there's no use bushing up from 1½" pipe between the filter and the heater if it's less than 2' and both have 1½" ports.
