It's been in the mid 90's here for a while now and my water is 86 degrees.
The water is crystal clear and we swim just about every day...
The tiny black algea spots are covering the pool's bottom and some of the side walls (surface is rough and needs replastering)...I've kept the chlorine level in the 5.0 color on the simple yellow/red test kit for several days but no effect.
How many 182 oz. jugs of WalMart bleach could I safely add without damaging any other equipment? I've tried 2 but the spots don't react.
It's 10,000 gallons inground.
Brushing with a steel bristle brush as little effect - only under water power washing removes them but it would take many hours of this to remove them all.
