Am I buying the right backwash valve?

I need to replace my backwash valve. My system is very old and beat up by the sun. Here's a link to the valve I am considering:

Is this the right valve for my filter?

Not being very experienced with pool equipment, I want to make sure I'm buying the right stuff. Also, since my equipment is very old, the part numbers don't always match what I find on the internet.

That one should work or you could get a multiport like this. It gives you more flexibility, such as pump to waste and recirc.

In the ad for this one, it says "ABS vs. the 261165 which is PVC". Is ABS to be preferred over PVC?

In pool service it doesn't matter. All your plumbing is glued so you don't need the threaded ports on the PVC valve.
