Most people go to a pool store for metals tests. To test yourself you will probably need to get test kits specificaly for metals, as metals tests are not usually in the standard kits. Leslie's web site sells a reasonably priced low range (0.05 to 1.0 ppm) copper test kit. The iron test kit is a bit more expensive. It is also possible to get a test for manganese, though it is far less common to have a problem with manganese.
