Intex pool pump

I have a 24ft x 52in intex above ground pool.The pump for it sucks it half works when it wants and i need to find a pump that wont cost me an arm and a leg for it. I would like to have a sand filter pump.I need some help if anyone can

craigslist...200+lb sand filter and 3/4 hp pump...otherwise you are looking at at least $350+ for any decent pump filter combo. I know intex makes a sand filter combo, but not sure of the quality.

thanks for the information i will go look on craigslist i looked at the intex sand filter pumps but i dont know nothing about it it dont tell much either

just bought the intex sand filter but i havent gotten it hooked up yet. it is a quality feeling unit. it is not cheaply made. i will post a review and some pics when i have it up and running. it rates 5 stars on amazon so far!
