Do you still use your filter after using the Kreey Krauly?

Just installed my 1st automatic cleaner - a Sandshark Kreepy Krauly. I looked in the manuel and checked a few places online and can't seem to find whether you still run your filter for any length of time after you are done using the Kreepy Krauly. I have heard run the filter about 6 - 8 hours a day. The Kreepy only takes about 4 hours to clean the pool. So do I run the filter at night then for a few additional hours? And if so, do you take out the cone reducer and regulator so that the skimmer basket will fit in place?

Typically, you want to run your filter so that you get at least one turnover of your pool water each day. How long that is can vary greatly based on your pool size, pump size, filter, above- or in-ground, etc. If you can post that information, hopefully we can be a little more help.
