Our above ground pool is fairly old and the top rail is rusted in spots and has rough edges. Is there a way to replace them? What would I look for? What about covering them?
What brand is it? I'm guessing unless there is something really out of the ordinary about your pool you should be able to replace them, even if with another brand's rails if the lengths match
To be honest, I have no idea what brand it is. We just bought the house in December. I think I might be able to find some paperwork on the liner when it was replaced. Hopefully it has a brand.
Measure the distance on center from the screw to screw on each end and of course between the screws on each post - that will give you a good set of details to use for replacements - the distance between uprights is fairly standard except on a few brands.
