Have been doing ALOT of reading as I am a pool newbie. Is it necessary to have something under the ladder legs on the inside of the pool? I have seen mats sold to save the liner. Are there any cheaper alternatives?
When we had out Intex pool, we didn't use anything under the legs, and never noticed the legs digging into the floor. Of course, that may have been because of all the lumps in the floor! Our ground was level with no slopes, just lumpy under the liner.
With our new pool I'll probably use shoes. After all, I live in SE Tx, and 'you might be a redneck if...'
