I'm letting the chlorine level drop to target level for the pool after shock and overnite test.
I tested yesterday and got fc 9.5 cc 0. Today I tested at same time 6 p.m. ,sun off of pool, and got reading of fc 9 cc 0. I was figuring I would see a loss of 1 to 3 ppm. Afternoon sun was partially blocked by clouds. With a cya of 70 would this be considered ok for a 24hr drop?
Would I be ok in letting the fc,cc drop to 5 since the chart recommends 4 to 8 ? At 8ppm the taylor basic kit will not be useable so I am using the chlorine drop test.
Wife is out of school for the summer (teacher) and called me at work today. First question I had to ask her was "how's the pool doing today",,smiley goes here!
thanks for all the great help from this site....
