2 Venturis and a Blower

We have an inground spa connected with our inground pool. This will be year 6 of our pool and we put it in. I just haven't spent that much time learning like I should. Anyway, I have learned a bunch over the last 2 years to be a more responsible owner. The spa has a switch on the control panel to turn on the jets, we have another blower that I almost never turn on as it brings a whole lot of power and we have 2 venturis at the spa itself.

With just the switch on the control panel turned on, the one venturi works to bring a lot of pressure through the jets, but the other venturi does nothing. I can turn of the working venturi and use the one that doesn't work and nothing happens. Is the other venturi for when we have the "second" blower on?

Thanks for any assistance.

Venturis are the spa jet fittings with the nozzles in the spa wall not the air openings at the deck level. Are talking about air inlet adjustments? Normally you would use one or the other but not both.

If one of the jets is not working properly, there could be debris in that line. You can usually clear the debris by remove all the jet fittings and the internal nozzles and flush the lines with the pump running.

Thanks for correcting me and clarifying. I’m talking about the air inlet adjustments. I just opened them both fully and the one that provides more pressure is a large opening that seems to be running to the spa while the other seems to go nowhere and just has a very small hole about an inch or two from the top so it seemingly does nothing.

Thanks for replying.
