Hi, just got the kit(tf100) in & pool has been up for 2 weeks. Been using strips & thought I was ok. The attached pic are the current correct levels using the tf100. Could anyone help by telling me if I should be concerned with any of the 3 that are out of range? I did this for my grandkids & don't want anything to harm them. I am ignorant on exactly what each level means...thank you in advance.

Welcome to TFP and great job obtaining a fantastic test kit; :goodjob: About your numbers:
- FC is low. Add about 5 ppm worth of liquid chlorine as soon as you can.
- pH is fine
- TA is flagged but nothing to worry about right now (safe to swim).
- CH is fine if this is a vinyl pool
- CYA is okay, but no higher. No tablets or powdered shock products. ONLY liquid chlorine from here on.
- I'm assuming this is a vinyl pool so CSI won't apply.

So if the water is clear it is safe. Just add a bit more chlorine.

Now I will say this. We need to be 100% sure the water is crystal clear. No green, no cloudiness, no hazy or dull appearance. If it is, go right into an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test. So let us know if you have any questions.

Your signature is blank, and there is no general pool info in your profile either. Please be sure to add your pool and equipment info as soon as you can. Include the test kit too. We look for that info on each & every post so we can answer your questions accurately. :goodjob:

Thank you for your quick response. Yes it's crystal clear & vinyl (18'x52). I'm taking the floating tab out now. Btw, I have 10% lc how much of that do I add when you say 5ppm? Thanks again

For your pool about half a gallon. You can see how chemicals should effect your pool by using the PoolMath APP, load your pool info, then go to the "Effects of Adding" section. Great tool!

BTW, my granddaughter is the light of my life and I would let her swim in my pool if those were my test results, so I get your POV. I would also raise my FC about 5 ppm.

You need to follow this guideline for chlorinating your pool on a daily basis Read this link-->FC/CYA Levels

Always keep your FC in range for your CYA.

With CYA at 70 and FC 3.5, you might just do an overnight chlorine loss test to ensure you don't have algae (even if you can't see it)...cheap insurance. Link-->Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

Here is a pool care schedule to help:
