I got to agree with Scott on this. If the 280 has worked satisfactorily for 15 years I certainly wouldn't change to something new unless there was an overwhelming reason to.
We just got back from Leslie's. Looks like we can get everything repaired on the 280 for a bit over $100. So we're doing that and hoping to get another year or two out of it.
