18’ above ground questions

Hi!

We are planning to have an above ground pool installed for next summer. We have a very small yard and I think the biggest we can do would be 18’.

Can anyone share how they are enjoying a pool this size? I can’t visualize very well ha ha! It will be a “permanent” type 54” deep. No decking. When I search pictures I see “Intex” pool type images that show like 15 people in a pool this size but I find that hard to believe?

We are a family of 4. Would there be enough room for adults to float around a bit and enough play space for little ones?

An 18' is going to be pretty small for 4 people. It's certainly doable, but it'll get small pretty quick.
Would your lot allow you to go with an oval pool? Maybe a 16' X 32' or an 18' X 33'?

If you can't fit anything else, I'd definitely go with the 18'.

18 would be OK for 4 to play or 2-3, maybe even 4 floating (2 better) but play and floating both might be less relaxing for the floaters. still, it's a pool! enjoy!
