Drain, Acid Wash, Startup - Which startup?

long story, wont get into it, but this is the gist of it.

PB is going to drain the pool, and do acid wash.
i will then fill the pool, and do a start up.

Pool has been in operation since July. So this is not a new plaster. This is a second acid wash to fix some plaster blemishes.

Do I need to follow the NPC card for new plasters? Or do I just need to fill the pool, and get everything balanced?

Just fill the pool, add CYA, test the water, add CL, then work on PH and CH.

If you test your fill water before you will have some idea of where you are starting with PH, CH and TA.
