New member and pool owner from Mesa, AZ

Hello TFP,

I'm very happy to be a part of this site as it looks like this a great place to learn and eventually contribute once I know some things.

I have never owned a pool before but recently purchased a home with a pool so I'm trying to come up to speed on how to maintain things and figure out exactly what I'm working with. So far I know that most of the equipment is Pentair and consists of an Easy Touch control panel, IC40 salt cell, Mastertemp 400 heater, and a Phoenix vacuum. The welcome message requests that we include our pool info in our signature but I'm not exactly sure what all this stuff is yet. I think this is accurate so far:

Good start on the signature. I copied what you showed to the signature box in Settings.
So now just more detail. Read Pool School - Read This BEFORE You Post
Information in your signature will show up each time you post and it makes advice more accurate as we know what equipment we are dealing with.

I suggest you read Pool School - ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Trouble Free Pool School book.
