First time pool owner!... oh and home too

Hey y'all!

My wife and I just moved into our first home which includes a ~14K gal vinyl liner, chlorine, pool. We had a pool inspection before the closing and, from the report, we seem to be in pretty good shape. I'm mostly interested in learning about maintenance routines/strategies and will probably have some purchases to make in the near future (robotic cleaner, new cover, heat pump?).
