Travertine Pool Fence

Does anyone else have a pool safety fence surrounding the perimeter of their pool on travertine?
I need this now for my 3 young kids, but in 5-6 years, it probably won't be necessary. I'm a little concerned about the holes it will leave behind once we remove it. I know they sell caps, but does this look awkward on travertine?

What about a weighted base, similar to an umbrella stand, at each post location?

We have glass fencing installed into our travertine paving. The sprigots required core drilling into the travertine to install. Massive holes, probably 8cm round. The fence will never be coming down though ,so the holes will never be a concern. I’m not sure why you’d want to take the fence down, unless it was to replace it with another.

With our slide, we anticipate removing it one day. We will simply fill the 8 tiny holes with matching grout and you’d never know.
