Hot Tub Cover Cap

Does anyone here use a hot tub cover cap (basically, a cover for your cover)? Since a hot tub cover can be expensive to replace, I was thinking this might have some benefits (keeps ice/snow/rain off the main cover, prevent fading from sun, etc.). Any thoughts? Is it worth it?
