Our water bill came in today for the time period of the pool fill. We average 6CCF a month but this bill was 40CCF so that leaves us at 34CCF x 748 gallons = 25432 gallons. I thought we were closer to 18K. That is a big difference.

38' at the longest. 22' at the widest. 12' at the narrowest . Here are the measurements from this morning.
Does 25k seem reasonable? The odd shape does not make it easy to measure.

Was your water meter reading the same month the pool was constructed? I guarantee that the construction crews used a lot of water.

I would guess about 15000 gallons. You can nail it down with muriatic acid or liquid chlorine and testing with a proper test kit.

They did use abit but there was quite the delay between gunite and filling the pool.

Is there a documented method for using chlorine or muratic acid for calculating gallons???
