white spots on pool deck

so i put 10-20-10 fertilizer granules on my yard. i used my blower to remove any pellets that got around the pool. the next morning i noticed white spots in my foot prints from walking in the yard and on to the pool deck from the night before.
any idea what will remove them? they don’t wash off with the hose

Can you please share a pic of what you are dealing with? I have a couple of ideas but want to see what it looks like first.

how do i do pics from an iphone?

the white spots are 1/4” in diameter. it was from the fertilizer i tracked up on the concrete deck

Not sure how to upload from a iphone.....Lets do some thinking:

Can you feel where the dots are? Like are they raised or dropped down?

Is you deck sealed?

Lets do some experimenting:

-dawn soap to start- see what it does

BEFORE you do the next two on a main area test them on a small, out of sight area to make sure your decking can handle it.

CLR- use care and be ready to rinse it real good.

muriatic acid-1 to 4 m.a. to water-again make sure be ready to rinse it real good.
