Cloudy water but water test sorta okay

No cover over the winter so we had a slimy mess to clean up. Slammed pool and then used Taylor kit to test. Running SWG on 100%; running auto vacuum constantly (can't see bottom to use pump vacuum).
All the green and sediment is gone but water is still white cloudy. The only thing I have not done is clean my filter cartridges. Do I need to slam again?

The experts will most certainly chime in but from what I understand you must continue to slam until you’re numbers are on point and your water is clear... if not you must continue to slam. As of now you must bring your FC up based on the chart.

I’m in the same predicament. Been slamming and vacumming for the past 4 days. Still no clear water but hoping the end is near. I’ve been measuring fc twice a day And bringing to appropriate level.

If you've had a green pool, and the CYA is 60, you should be maintaining 24 FC. Dachamp is correct.

SLAM Process is an acronym for Shock Level And Maintain. Sounds to me like you've just did a one-time SL.
