I have been around pools most of my life. Grew up with an in ground pool, then as an adult bought an above ground pool after moving from that house I so wanted another pool for the grandkids. Purchased a Polygroup Summer Waves Elite 20' x 48" however the filter is way too small to effectively keep it clean and no way can you vacuum it. I want to convert to a sand filter that I already have but the fittings on the pool are 11/4" and I can't for the life of me figure out how to convert to 11/2".. I am including pictures of the current fittings on the pool. Any suggestions would be great.
