I have a 16 ft Intex pole frame pool. The filter that came with the pool was worthless. Bought a Haywood, bigger that what I needed for 6K gallon pool, but it does a very good job. I need a new over the edge skimmer. Would love recommendations, and if I need socks. If yes, would you recommend hair nets? I like my pool very clean. During summer evenings my water gets a blanket of tiny bugs and I want them gone. I also go away for two weeks in the summer and don't know how to care for the pool during my absence. Help!!!

We certainly can help guide you through some skimmer options. Hairnets or other such products we use as "skimmer socks" are an outstanding way to capture tiny debris before it gets to the filter. I always have one in my skimmer.
