A question about the impact of the size of the eyeball. My pool builder put white fittings in my pool along with my blue surf Pebble Sheen and grey will look much better. I've already replaced the drains and just got my replacement eyeballs (CMP Aussie Insider, 1/5"). I have 3 of these in the pool currently using the eyeball as shown below, with the 3/4" opening. The 6 jets in my spa have just the flange only, the eyeball isn't even installed.
Question is, how do I determine the optimal opening size? The eyeballs come with 1/2 and 3/8 inserts.
