Indoor pool reopen question

Hi all! How long is water good for?
Pool was finished in the fall, heated all winter,spring summer and not heated over this winter, its only 1500 gals so dump and fill or just bleach and go? being indoors with a single user im fortunate to not have all the usual problems with water condition, Thanks Steve

Hello Steve and welcome to TFP! We don't normally replace water in a pool just for the sake of it as long as the pool has been maintained and there is no significant problem requiring extensive chemical or manual treatments. But your pool is quite small and actually could fall in the category of Pool School - Guide for Seasonal/Temporary Pools. So if you did have a questionable issue, I would expect a simple dump & fill would just be easier and perhaps more economical. Hope that helps. Nice to have you with us.

I will acquire new test kits and see where its at and report back. As the pump and cartridge have been in constant use with no user load added Im guessing its just fine
