Does CYA matter as much? It’s about 45-ish. FC is 5.5, CH 400, TA 90 And ph is over 8.2. I know we need to knock that down

Since chlorine demand is lessened in the colder months (no bathers, sun not high in the sky over pool) I wouldn't worry about the CYA as much until spring. And since you're going to put a cover on it you'll be fine at that level of CYA.

Don't forget to lower that pH though!
