Polaris 360 going static

Hi all

ive got a Polaris 360 connected to one of my main returns (shallow end).

It was doing a great job until recently.
Now it tends to drive itself to the deep end and stay there.
Occasionally it's moving back towards the shallow end when the back up valve kicks in, then goes back to the deep end.

I've adjusted the pressure relief valve to achieve recommended wheel rpm (30).

Any one had similar issue ?
anything I can do myself or should I take it for service?

A clean filter is a must if you have it plumbed to a return.

I did notice better performance after backwash of my sand filter
