Problems with Polaris 280

I just recently bought a new Polaris 280 pool vacuum. I like the way it works but it gets stuck in 2 rounded corners of our pool. The wheel just spins when it gets into these spots. It's obviously going to wear the tires out early. Any suggestions? I've adjusted the small float behind the hose and can't see a change.

Try aiming the tail jet up some. Mine runs better that way. Do you have a backup valve installed?

The backup valve will usually pick the polaris up after a few minutes and float it somewhere else. I had to replace mine once. If you have one it would be about 2.5 to 3 feet on the hose from the unit.

I adjusted the tail jet and that seemed to help. The backup valve works but takes alittle while to move it. Thanks for the advice.
