Pentair 10 hole sealing ring replacement.

Question..........don't the screws go through the wall and screw into the niche? If so what keeps the niche from out of alignment? This ring is junk in my setup I guess because of poor quality, everything else looks brand new after 9 years.

I am not sure I understand your question. Can you share a pic or reword your question?

The niche is held to the wall by screws other than the 10 that attach the sealing ring. The ring is chrome plated brass, which I think should be good stainless instead.

Thanks James and yes kimkats I need to replace that inside ring sometime. The rest of the parts....light, and the niche itself is in good shape.
