How much water in pump?

Is this normal? I finally got my whole system 5up and running on a single feed Intex 15ft pool. Its running just from the skimmer....on high it's running around 10psi..low it's not even reading any.....the water is full in the pump and swirling....no air vortex but it's super high in the basket housing.

Do you have a good seal at the pump lid? I know those style lids are a little tricky. Have to have a good amount of pressure downward on them when screwing them on. Check the position of the o-ring in there as well.

Make sure your skimmer flap (weir) is in the proper position and that the water level is plenty high in the pool, usually at the height of the highest screw on the side of the skimmer opening (1 screw down from the corner).

Have a good seal..guy I got it from said it ran like that since he had it..so I guess I'll run it and continue keeping an eye on it...on low pressure it doesn't register any pressure....on high it's at 10psi
