My wife and I finally decided to build an in-ground concrete pool last summer. I grew up in Miami with a swimming pool in our backyard and have missed it ever since we moved away when I was 12 years old. I'm 42 now and have four kids (15, 12, 7, and almost 5). Our pool was completed at the end of January, and I've been lurking on here regularly since around that time.
I truly appreciate the free exchange of information that is shared on this website. Last night, I purchased a robotic pool cleaner based on the plethora of advice found on the forum. (I'll make a separate post on this topic when I have more time.) Suffice it to say, TFP eased my confusion and saved me hundreds of dollars in the process! In recognition of the value I see in TFP, I donated $50 today to become a Silver Supporter. (The $20 discount will come in handy when I order my TF-100 test kit soon!)
Anyway, I just wanted to quickly introduce myself and offer my gratitude to all who contribute to this excellent website.
