I have no idea why this isn't included with the pump or why I couldn't find this info on TFP so I'm posting here
If you're Intex filter has a threaded drain port that is approximately 2.25 inches wide and you want to use a roll up backwash hose, this is the adapter you need:
Intex 10849 (also called Adaptor A)
Intex link: Adaptor A With Collar (To Adapt Small Hose [1-1/4 Or 32mm] To Plunger Valve ) - Intex
About $10 after shipping. Cheapest place I found. Hope this helps someone
