    How to heat a pool

I live in Southern California also. How did you get your pool up to 80 degrees so early in the summer? Do you use a heater and if so what does it cost to heat to 90 degrees right now? Mine is solar heated and usually doesnt warm up til June when the daily temp. is in the 90's.

Re: How to heat a pool

    Welcome to TFP!

My pool has been in the upper 80s for weeks with high temps in the 70s and low 80s. Are you using a solar cover? Do you have a solar controller? How many sf of panels do you have vs pool? Please add your pool info to your signature so we can better help you. More here on how to do that, Pool School - Read This BEFORE You Post

There is also more info on heating my pool in my pool thread, link in sig.
