I need help converting Coleman return valve to fit index auto cleaner

Hello. I have a Coleman 18 round pool. I just recently bought a index auto pool vacuum. Problem I have is with the return valve fitting. They don't match up.does anyone have experience with this issue? Please advise:)I have attached pics of my current return valve front and back and then the fitting for the vacuum hoses that I need to use. IMG_8684.jpgIMG_8685.jpgIMG_8693.jpg
 
Does that cover unscrew off of the fitting? The Intex fittings have threads on them that the adapter would screw on to.

Worst comes to worst, you could change the fitting to an Intex fitting.
