I am getting ready to open my pool. Starting the slam process. What should I have my cya at when starting a slam? Do I need to work on ph and alkalinity before I start or is that something I can do while slamming. Do I need to add salt? Thanks for the help

CYA needs to be between 30-50 for outdoor pools.

No, you don't need to add salt, because we suggest not using the SWG during a slam. Yes, adjust the pH down to 7.2 before you start. Follow the procedure, but ask us questions if they arise. Someone will be here to help.
