Was wondering if anybody has used the Pool Step Specialists. I have a crack on the top step and need to fix it . Any suggestions about fill behind the step

We've had a few cracks around in our pebblesheen over the years. Our PB fixed them by digging out loose material with a flathead screwdriver, mixed black and white pool putty together to make a gray that sorta matched the plaster and then mooshed it into the cracks. It cures u newater and lasts for years.
