I wanted to remind folks that often pool products that have the word "Blue" in the name often also contain copper. Copper is something you do NOT want to add to your water as it causes stains as well as green hair. The copper is NOT listed as an ingredient but as "Trade Secret", so be careful if you are using these products!

In response to a request I made to Clorox regarding their "XtraBlue" line of products I rec'd the following response:

Yes, please avoid copper in all products including algaecides. We don't want to have to help you remove the stains in a year or two.
