How do you prevent your travertine from scratching??

We're planning on having chairs on decking. Is it going to scratch the travertine, moving them around? Any tips, pics would be appreciated! Thx!travertine.jpg

What do you mean? It isn't a super hard material, so using care placing things on it or dragging them across it should be seen too, but not sure I understand what else you might be getting at.
