I am going to guess the CH should be FC (Free chlorine)

CH is calcium hardness and would be good to know also.

I would do TA as well.

PH and TA go hand in hand.

Boo on the wait for plaster but it is for the better sigh!

Yes, it has been many decades since I studied the periodic chart--I should have typed C instead of CH yesterday. Here are my fill water numbers:

C: .5
PH: 8.2
CH: 225
TA: 280

What does this tell us?

Plaster rescheduled again--they will do it tomorrow, weather permitting.

Thank you. Yes, I've been in Pool School a lot over the last few months! I'm hoping it all comes together and makes more sense once I am hands-on with it. Will post pics later today if they actually show up as scheduled to do the plaster.

I think they will start the plaster care today. Just called PB to let them know it is full per their request. Pool school from the PB is schedule for a week from today.

That is some pretty water there! Just remember it will look a little green in the beginning. That is normal. As the plaster cures the true color will come out.

Have you brush the pool yet? What has he said about brushing?

PB is supposed to take care of it for first week. I haven't seen anybody today so it hasn't been touched.

Sooooooo happy I purchased the Wall Whale brush with my TF100 kit!

Chemicals added yesterday and our pump will run through Friday. Only one skimmer on at this time due to the type of plug contractors used during build. Correct tool to open it will be brought over the next few days. Neighborhood ducks were over this morning to take a swim!

CYA: I could see the black dot all the way. Does that mean no CYA?

Yes, you start out without stabilizer. If that in-line chlorinator in your signature means a puck feeder, it will add CYA over time.
