I just noticed that the eyebolts (used to separate the shallow end from the deep end) in our pool have deteriorated so bad that they will need replaced. They split so that they can be pulled off and placed (not screwed) back onto the bolts that are behind the fiberglass pool. I looked around for a Nylon eye nut but don't see that as an option. Is there a way to replace this without taking out all the guts? I was even thinking of putting a 1/2 washer/nut on the bolt (to keep water from escaping there) and then finding something to cover it.
Speaking of water escaping through those areas, is this a big problem that I need to address immediately?
